How to Create a Strong Password

Some simple rules:

Use these simple rules when creating your Lestrade Bruney Heritage password:

Make it long.
Use at least 12 characters. Longer is better.

Use a phrase you can remember.
A combination of several unrelated words is often easier to remember and harder to guess.
Example: MangoRiverTrain84!

Mix different types of characters.
Include:

    • Capital letters
    • Lowercase letters
    • Numbers
    • A symbol such as !, #, $, or ?

Do not use easy-to-guess personal information.
Avoid:

    • Your name
    • Your birth date
    • Your phone number
    • Your address
    • Names of children or grandchildren
    • Simple passwords such as password123

Do not reuse a password from another important account.
Your LBH password should be different from the password you use for your email, banking, or social media.

Make it memorable, but not obvious.
A short sentence or unusual combination of words can work well.
Example: GreenParrotSings@27

Store it somewhere safe.
If you may forget it, save it in a trusted password manager or in another secure place that only you can access.

One simple rule to remember

Long + memorable + unique = a strong password

Important Reminder

Never send your password to anyone by email, text message, or social media. Your LBH planning team and website administrators will never ask you to provide your password.
